About Sunnydeck

Sunnydeck is a fantastic apartment in the heart of Exmouth, close to all amenities and ideal for couples who want to enjoy Devon’s beautiful coastline and countryside. It is surprisingly quiet given its town centre location only a few minutes’ walk from the Blue Flag beach and estuary, shops, and great bars and eateries like Les Saveurs and Rockfish along the waterfront (great for seafood lovers with lovely views!). The apartment comes with off-road parking for a medium size car (such as a golf as this is not a large space), but with excellent transport links including Exmouth train station 500 metres from the door, it is a perfect choice for those who don’t want to spend their holiday behind the wheel.

Exmouth was voted the 6th Best Seaside Town by the Independent and delivers everything you could want from an English seaside resort. It gets an impressive amount of sunshine, the lovely beach has soft golden sand and very clean water that is good for swimming, and there are excellent facilities, so you won’t always be popping back to the apartment if you have forgotten something. It is a popular town so there is always something fun happening, including the annual Exmouth Festival held over the last weekend in May, the Illuminated Festival in autumn, and the famous Christmas Day swim.

There is a wide variety of shops to suit all tastes and budgets, from the covered markets to shopping centres and independent retailers as well as newly developed cafes and boutiques in the stylish Strand. Self-catering is a breeze with two supermarkets, farmers market and lots of shops selling local produce, but there are also a large number of restaurants and cafes if you don’t feel like cooking.

The beach is the main attraction for holidaymakers to Exmouth. It is popular with families and great for virtually all types of watersports including surfing, kite-surfing, paddle boarding and sailing. Exmouth opens up onto the magnificent Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a walk along the Jurassic Coast Heritage Path is a fantastic way to appreciate its unique beauty. Alternatively, you can book a cruise on one of the trips that regularly leave from Exmouth Marina.

Exmouth is convenient for exploring the rest of Devon’s beautiful coast and countryside. Spend the day in Exeter with its magnificent cathedral and great shops; hike, cycle or climb your way around Dartmoor; or jump in the car or on the bus and find yourself in lovely villages like Lustleigh, Appledore, Ottery St Mary and Noss Mayo.

Location (Devon)

The spacious ground floor apartment provides comfortable self-catering accommodation for two people in one double room. It is centrally heated with radiators in all rooms and guests can easily control the temperature themselves.

Accommodation Comprises:

  • The bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, bedside tables with reading lights, and ample storage for clothing. It is decorated in fresh white with soft colour accents to create a restful atmosphere.
  • The bright modern kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is a fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob with overhead extractor fan, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine.
  • A separate dining area has been incorporated into the large hallway and has a dining table and chairs for four people.
  • The living room is another bright and airy space with a three-seater and two-seater couch, a flat screen digital television, HomeHub docking station with Bluetooth and decorative fireplace.
  • A tiled shower room has a shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

Outside: A private patio has stylish decking and a table and chairs for four, creating a pleasant place for alfresco meals or a peaceful pre-dinner drink. There is off-street parking for one medium size car (golf estate sort of size - please note this is not a large space).

Additional Information: The property is suitable for children up to five years old. There is free WiFi, and all linen, towels and utilities are included in the price. No smoking. No pets.

Access: There is an almost level threshold to access the front of the property. Disabled badge holders have access to free road-side parking at the front of the property. Should you require further information, please speak to the owner.
