Self Catering Holiday Cottages in Drewsteignton

Butterdon is one of three historic Dartmoor self-catering cottages on the 50-acre Clifford Barton estate in the Teign Valley, a short walk from the River Teign and Fingle Bridge. There's plenty to keep everyone busy with a well equipped Games Barn, off-grid wood fired Hot Tub, Bike Pool and walks around Clifford Barton's stunning lake and beyond onto Dartmoor. Clifford Barton is exceptionally peaceful and its 50 acres of woodland, meadows, streams and lake are managed for wildlife so its a perfect location to unwind and enjoy nature. The converted barn sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms and is ideal for families, friends and couples. Dogs are also welcome. Exeter is 25 minutes away, and the South Devon coast is around 45 minutes by car. There's plenty to do in all seasons, whether you're the adventurous type and love to hike, climb, abseil, and mountain bike, or you enjoy sitting with a picnic and a great view. 

Bridesmere is a beautifully presented barn conversion, located in the stunning Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps up to 9 guests in three bedrooms and is one of three welcoming properties on the Clifford Barton Estate, where facilities include 50-acres of private nature reserve with a lake with sheltered yoga platform, a woodland platform for birdwatching, a games room and a wood-fired hot tub. The area is perfect for families and friends, especially those who enjoy walking, wildlife, cycling, wild swimming, and scenic views. Dartmoor's vast open moorland is a 20 minute drive, Exeter is around 25 minutes and you can reach Devon's spectacular coast in 45 minutes. Local attractions include Go Ape and mountain biking at Haldon Park, Castle Drogo, and Crealy Adventure Park. 

Enjoy the warmth of more than 200-years of hospitality in this charming Dartmoor cob and thatch holiday cottage. Primrose Cottage is in the pretty village of Drewsteignton, next to the church and within strolling distance of the village shop and pub. There are gorgeous walks from the door through the River Teign Valley and local attractions, including National Trust's Castle Drogo and Fingle Bridge. Walking, climbing, and mountain biking are popular in North Dartmoor's rugged landscape, but there are more gentle pursuits to enjoy, such as browsing local markets and visiting the beaches of the English Riviera just over half an hour away. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has two sitting rooms, an open fire and a very small enclosed front garden with table and chairs to sit and watch the world go by.
