Holiday Homes With Onsite Fishing

Fishing has to be one of the most relaxing and laidback activities and what better time to do it than when you are on holiday. It’s a wonderful activity that is popular with all ages and great to do with friends or as a solitary activity when you want to escape for some peace and quiet. Many of our coastal cottages offer great opportunities for fishing both from the shore or via a sea boat excursion. We also have a large selection of self-catering properties below that offer on-site fishing - hours of entertainment without having to leave the cottage grounds. Some have direct access from the garden onto the river, loch or shoreline whilst others have fishing lakes amongst the grounds that guests are welcome to use during their stay.  Read more

Looking for a fishing holiday?

Whether you enjoy the activity and excitement of fly fishing or prefer the relaxation of coarse fishing, the UK offers excellent opportunities for anglers. Renting a holiday cottage with on-site fishing means that you will never be far from the water or enjoying your passion. Even if you are not keen on fishing yourself, having a lake, loch, river or the coast on the doorstep is sure to add to the tranquility of any environment. For the keen anglers amongst you, what could be nicer than starting the day with an early morning fish whilst breakfast is being prepared back at the cottage or ending it with a cold beer and your fishing rod as the sun goes down! If you are really lucky, you may even manage to catch something tasty for supper.

Tips: Always supervise children around water. Some cottage owners will provide rods, equipment and storage facilities so find out what facilities are available before setting off on your holiday. Fishing permits may be required. Don't forget your waders and waterproofs!
