Butterdon is one of three historic Dartmoor self-catering cottages on the 50-acre Clifford Barton estate in the Teign Valley, a short walk from the River Teign and Fingle Bridge. There's plenty to keep everyone busy with a well equipped Games Barn, off-grid wood fired Hot Tub, Bike Pool and walks around Clifford Barton's stunning lake and beyond onto Dartmoor. Clifford Barton is exceptionally peaceful and its 50 acres of woodland, meadows, streams and lake are managed for wildlife so its a perfect location to unwind and enjoy nature. The converted barn sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms and is ideal for families, friends and couples. Dogs are also welcome. Exeter is 25 minutes away, and the South Devon coast is around 45 minutes by car. There's plenty to do in all seasons, whether you're the adventurous type and love to hike, climb, abseil, and mountain bike, or you enjoy sitting with a picnic and a great view.
