We are within the buffer zone of the Braunton Unesco Bioshpere Sand Dune Nature reserve and next to two sites of special scientific interest for their rare habitats. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but only a mile, 20 minutes walk, to Braunton centre and 2 miles to Saunton Golf Club & Saunton Sands Hotel, Saunton Beach and 3.5 miles to Croyde Beach. There are some wonderful walks and cycle rides from the door. You can also cycle along the back lanes and fields to The Tarka Trail, Saunton Golf Club, Sandy Lane Car Park, and Crow point.
