Holiday Cottages in Bude

As well as consistently being one of the sunniest places in the UK, Bude's beaches are a huge attraction. Even on the busiest summer day they never feel crowded as there are miles of coastline to spread your towel out on. Enjoy the sensation of the sun on your back and your toes in the sand, explore rock pools, or appreciate the ocean views from a different vantage point as you walk the South West Coast Path. Nearby, you will find the dramatic ruins of Tintagel, legendary home of King Arthur; Padstow, Cornwall's foodie epicentre; and the unspoiled paradise that is Lundy Island. Read more

More about Bude

Bude has escaped the tarnish of large chains, with most shops and restaurants being owned and run by locals. Not only does this mean you get a genuinely friendly welcome wherever you go, it allows you to easily tap into local knowledge about where the best surfing break is, which golf course is the most challenging, or who does the best cream tea in town (jam first, then cream, since it's Cornwall!)

The pace of life may be slower in Bude, but that doesn't mean it is backwards. Recharge your batteries and relive the best memories of your youth in this fantastic Cornish seaside resort.
