Exmouth and Teignmouth are to the east, while the beautiful beaches of Bude and the Cornwall Heritage Coast are to the west. Families with kids should definitely check out Simmons Park and meadows if they need somewhere for the younger ones to let off some steam; or take a scenic drive south of town to Becky Falls Woodland Park.
