The wealth of local footpaths and cycling routes make it easy to enjoy Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside, while its idyllic location on a non-working farm affords guest the peace and privacy they crave.
This beautiful cottage on the edge of Dartmoor is less than two miles from Okehampton and within easy reach of shops, cafes and pubs as well as favourite attractions like Adventure Okehampton and the Museum of Dartmoor Life. It is perfect for couples or for two friends travelling together as the superking bed can be made up as a twin. Pets are also made welcome here. Dreamcatcher is on a non-working farm in a peaceful location with no passing traffic. It dates back to 1840 and started life as a cow shed before being lovingly transformed by the current owners into a gorgeous cottage with a bespoke kitchen, log burner and underfloor heating.

This detached period property is 6 miles from Okehampton and 8 miles to Tavistock. It is on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and within walking distance of a welcoming pub. It sleeps seven people in three bedrooms and has incredible views over the surrounding fields and countryside. There is a large lawn and private parking. There is a lovely sheltered seating area with great views over the valley. Lydford Gorge is two miles away, and there is a vast network of footpaths and cycling routes to help visitors explore. Exmouth and Teignmouth are to the east, while the beautiful beaches of Bude and the Cornwall Heritage Coast are to the west. Families with kids should definitely check out Simmons Park and meadows if they need somewhere for the younger ones to let off some steam; or take a scenic drive south of town to Becky Falls Woodland Park.
