It is a wonderful setting for your milestone birthday, family reunions, or a walking, golfing or surfing holiday, with its catering-standard kitchen and location close to the Thatched Inn pub and Ilfracombe's beach and harbour.
It's only a short stroll from the house to the harbour and beach, overlooked by St Nicholas' Chapel, the oldest working lighthouse in the country, and Damien Hirst's statue Verity. Raparee Cove is also just a short walk away if you prefer more seclusion. The South West Coast Path leads around Lantern Hill and Capstone Hill and offers sensational views in all seasons. You can also walk to Hele Bay, the historic Tunnels Beaches and Wildersmouth Beach, and the award winning Woolacombe Beach with it's three miles of sand and surf is just a ten minute drive away
It's easy to keep everyone happy when you stay at Marine Court. Days can include time on the water kayaking, paddleboarding, and coasteering from the new Watersports Hub just a short walk away. This stretch of coast is very popular with surfers, divers and anglers, with surfing instruction and sea fishing boat trips readily accessible. Take a boat trip to Lundy Island, or book a sightseeing tour to explore the coastline from a different angle. Golfers can enjoy sea views from every hole at Ilfracombe golf course or test their skills on the links at Mortehoe and Woolacombe Golf Club, six miles away. Hire a bike and cycle the traffic-free Tarka Trail or take to the wilds of Exmoor National Park.
Other North Devon attractions include Ilfracombe Aquarium, Milky Way Adventure Park, the BIG Sheep, Hartland Abbey and Gardens, RHS Gardens Rosemoor, and Exmoor Zoo. Discover the charms of Clovelly, take the Victorian funicular between Lynton and Lynmouth, journey on the heritage Tarka Valley Railway, and admire the masters at work at Dartington Crystal. Outside: The sunny terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast or drinks. There is ample off-street parking in a private car park.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests to bring beach towels and cot bedding if they are required. Tesco, Asda and Waitrose supermarkets deliver to the property for guests who want to order their groceries to be delivered after their arrival. Smoking is not permitted. Pets accepted by agreement.
