Hollowcombe Cottage can accommodate up to twelve guests in six bedrooms and is located on Down Farm, midway between the towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. Down Farm is a working farm on the South coast of Devon within an area of outstanding natural beauty and an area of Special Scientific Interest.

The area offers a great selection of sandy coves and wonderful beaches all within just minutes of the farm and you have a choice of three pubs serving food within a short drive and one within a half hour walk along the coastal path . The Southwest coast path runs around the edge of the farm and offers excellent walks with stunning views and a wide variety of wildlife and birds.

At Down Farm you can come and enjoy the beautiful countryside on a working farm, amongst the natural beauty of the area in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are the nearest towns. Kingsbridge is approximately eight miles away and is a delightful town with many shops, cafes, banks, restaurants, a supermarket and a sports centre with swimming pool. Dartmouth with its ancient narrow streets, boutiques, restaurants, cobbled market place and spectacular estuary setting is approximately ten miles away. There are some lovely estuary boat trips from both Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Down Farm is home to approximately four hundred sheep and a herd of Suckler cows, along with chickens. A short walk from the farm will take you down the valley to the secluded beach of Lannacombe Bay. The outstanding beauty of the surrounding farmland, countryside and coast, with its abundance of wild birds and flowers, provides the perfect place to relax and escape the pressures of every day life.
