Primrose Cottage is perfect for your next holiday to the South Devon coast. The detached holiday home is in South Milton near Kingsbridge, with stunning views over a nature reserve towards the sea, and guests enjoying easy access to beautiful walks and bike rides. The cottage is 500 metres from the beach, and the 20-minute walk to the Village Inn pub in nearby Thurlstone is an enjoyable way to work up a thirst. There is space for eight people to sleep in four lovely bedrooms, plenty of parking, storage for bikes, SUPs and surfboards, and everything else your family needs for a fun and memorable stay.
South Milton Sands is a gorgeous beach carefully managed by the National Trust to protect the environment for future generations. A few minutes walk from the cottage will see you on the sand or setting off along the long-distance South West Coast Path that spans more than 600 miles of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Britain. Follow the path to Hope Cove, just over a mile away, for a choice of pubs and restaurants, or go west to get to Bantham Beach with stunning views of Burgh Island. Thurlestone Beach and golf club are within walking distance, and the cottage is only a few miles from Salcombe.
There is plenty to keep everyone happily entertained, whatever the time of the year. The market town of Kingsbridge is four miles away, with a diverse choice of shops, cafes and restaurants. Plymouth and Exeter are also within easy reach, each offering a wealth of historical sights and places to eat, drink and shop. Head inland to the Dartmoor National Park, an excellent place for walking, mountain biking, horse riding, and climbing, or sit in the sunshine and watch the activity at Dartmouth Harbour.
While having a car is handy, it's possible to enjoy a holiday at Primrose Cottage without one. Ivybridge Train Station is around half an hour by taxi from Primrose Cottage.
