Swallow Cottage is in a converted hayloft in a gorgeous rural location on the outskirts of Bideford. North Devon is a beautiful mix of rolling countryside and fantastic beaches, with this lovely holiday cottage ideally located for both. It's one of six 4-Star self-catering properties on the family-run Robin Hill Farm, with excellent facilities that include a swimming pool, games room, dog exercise field, and children's play area. Guests love the peaceful setting that's easy to reach, being close to the A39 and eleven miles from the A361. Swallow Cottage is perfect for couples and families, including those with dogs. Depending on availability, you can book Swallow with other cottages on-site for a holiday with extended family or friends.
Bideford is a busy North Devon town where the River Taw empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Once the third largest port in England, it is a popular choice for holidaymakers who appreciate excellent amenities, including supermarkets, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Favourite things in Bideford include browsing the Victorian Pannier Market, taking a sightseeing boat tour around the coast, and hiring a bike to cycle a stretch of the traffic-free Tarka Trail. All of this is less than three miles from Swallow Cottage and close enough to walk or cycle if you like to take your time.
As lovely as the North Devon countryside is - and it's gorgeous - the beaches are one of the biggest draws for holidaymakers. Swallow Cottage is less than ten minutes from Westward Ho! and within easy reach of Peppercombe Beach, Saunton Sands and Croyde. Go surfing, swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing. Days out can also include fantastic family-friendly attractions like The Milky Way Adventure Park, The BIG Sheep, and The Ultimate Adventure Centre. Further afield but still under an hour's drive are Exmoor National Park and the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. It doesn't matter what time of the year you visit because there's always something fun to do.

Swallow Cottage is above Kingfisher Cottage, with access via an external flight of stairs from the courtyard. Once inside, accommodation is on one level.
Outside: The apartment has a private enclosed garden across the courtyard. Guests can use the swimming pool, play area and games room.
Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. A cot is available, but guests will need to bring cot bedding. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
