Tides Reach is a prestigious holiday cottage in Woolacombe on the North Devon coast. The large, detached house is on Woolacombe Esplanade with incredible views over Combesgate Beach and beautifully presented accommodation for 16 people in eight bedrooms with seven bathrooms. There's no question that your family, extended family and friends will adore a holiday in this superb holiday rental, where there are indoor and outdoor spaces purposely designed to encourage people to congregate and socialise, and serene bedrooms and quiet corners where you can relax as you read the perfect beach novel or lose yourself watching the waves. The house is decorated with a contemporary coastal vibe to make that special holiday getaway!
Woolacombe is a fantastic, family-friendly seaside resort. Tides Reach adjoins a National Trust property on the edge of the village, meaning that you can walk to shops, cafes and other amenities in just over 10 minutes, driving or cycling in even less time. We highly recommend walking even a short stretch of the South West Coast Path for the incredible views, leaving you awestruck in all seasons. The beach is close enough that you can pop down for a sunrise swim or admire the sunset while drinking sundowners on the patio. There's no need to panic if you forget a towel or favourite toy, as popping back to your holiday home is easy.
The beach is only half the fun when you stay at Tides Reach. Combesgate is excellent for swimming and surfing, or wander further around the coast to Barricane Beach, protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the variety of Caribbean shells brought there by the Gulf Stream. The opportunity to walk the coastal footpath is a massive draw for many visitors. Bring your bikes and follow the traffic-free Old Railway Cycling line to Ilfracombe or National Route 27 to Braunton to get on the Tarka Trail. Take a day trip to Lundy Island, Wookey Hole, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, or Exmoor Zoo, or admire picturesque Porlock Weir.

Tides Reach is a generously sized detached holiday home overlooking the beach at Woolacombe. It has recently undergone a sympathetic facelift, with the owners updating the central heating and appliances, and decorating it in a contemporary coastal style.

Outside: A gate from the enclosed rear garden opens directly onto National Trust land, perfect for dog walkers and explorers!. The huge upper terrace has outdoor dining tables and chairs and also chairs for relaxing in and soaking up the sun ,glass fronted balustrades and fantastic sea views. The lower terrace has wooden benches, sun-loungers and glass fronted balustrade, also with stunning sea views. The front gardens are landscaped in a chic coastal style. There is covered parking for four cars.
Additional Information: Three dogs are welcome by arrangement and for a small cleaning surcharge. All bed linen, bath towels, utilities and WiFi are included. Guests will need to bring beach towels and dog equipment, if necessary.
