Oyster Cove sleeps six to eight guests and is an ideal holiday retreat for those looking for a short break or longer holiday in the heart of the popular North Devon village of Croyde. Quiet and secluded, Oyster Cove is a split level bungalow and has something to offer everyone. It is just a short walk over the dunes from the beach (great for surfing) and also the village centre with its excellent pubs, restaurants and shops.
Croyde village exudes quaint charm and provides a place where you can escape the pressures of city life - simply park the car and enjoy being in walking distance of everything! Enjoy the thrill of surfing, playing or sun bathing on one of the wonderful beaches of Croyde, Saunton or Putsborough. Afterwards, stroll back to Oyster Cove, refresh and wander out into the village for supper or a glass.
Famed for being one of the country's best surfing beaches (surf lessons available from Surf South West), the fantastic combination of golden sands, dramatic dunes and intriguing rock pools makes it a perfect haven for children (beaches are patrolled by lifeguard's between April- November). Golfers too will love the location with the famous Saunton Golf Club just a two minute drive away, with its East course (ranked in the top twenty five UK courses). Ilfracombe Golf Course is also only fifteen minutes away offering an exhilarating game in a stunning setting.
For those who can tear themselves away from Croyde, the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe is only fifteen minutes away and offers a great selection of attractions, shops, eating establishments and a pretty harbour. Woolacombe is also a popular place to visit with its expansive three mile sandy beach.
Whether you are looking for a romantic break, a family holiday by the sea or an action packed few days surfing, cycling and walking with friends, Oyster Cove ticks all the boxes!

Set amongst beautiful scenery, Oyster Cove is surrounded by fields and overlooks the imposing headland which separates Croyde from Saunton. With views over Downend Point and the ocean from the upper terrace, Oyster Cove is an ideal costal retreat.
Accommodation comprises:
Outside: The garden has a wooden decking area outside the living room French doors, leading onto the lawn which leads up to the raised patio providing a peaceful place to soak up the sea views. Outdoor furniture and BBQ provided. There is also an outside shower for cleaning off after being on the beach and a lockup for storing bikes and sports equipment.
Additional information: Wi-Fi internet access. Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) provided and heating/electricity included in the price. Travel cot, high chair, Z-bed and stair barrier available. Unfortunately no pets in high season but on request in low season. No smoking.
