Welcome to The Cabin, a superbly located, beautiful thatched cottage that is right next to the beach in Hope Cove. It's in a wonderful position for coastal walking, playing on the beach, swimming and sandcastle construction whilst being just across the village square from the pub and conveniently next to the fantastic village shop. Perfect for family holidays or a lovely weekend break.
The front door opens directly into the beamed sitting room with views reaching out over the bay. Relax on the comfy sofa whilst listening to the sound of the beach and waves or take your pick from the games cupboard for a competitive evening. We do not have a television.
The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge/ freezer, microwave, food processor, cafetiere and oven with ceramic hob. There is a washing machine and clothes line in the garden. At the end of the kitchen is the downstairs WC and separate bathroom with a shower over the bath, a heated mirror and heated towel rail. Back doors open onto the garden which looks directly over Mouthwell beach.
The doorways are low so you will need to mind your head if you are tall!
Upstairs your have a double bedroom with sea views and and bunk room which is suitable for children. There is a travel cot available. The stairs are rather steep so don't hesitate to ask me for more information if you have any concerns.
The nearby town of Kingsbridge has a choice of supermarkets, an excellent fishmonger, butchers and bakers and the petrol station at Malborough also has a small supermarket section.

Private parking for 1 car by the cottage. We do not allow pets and there is no smoking in the cottage. Please don't hesitate to contact me for a weekend booking or midweek break. Bed linen and bath towels can be provided for £30. Please note that whilst we have a WiFi extender and aim to provide this service in the cottage, the coverage can be patchy. This old cottage with its thick walls and roof is more suitable for your digital detox and working from home!
