About Two Ocean Reach

Two Ocean Reach offers architect-designed holiday accommodation of the highest standard. With sensational ocean views, Two Ocean Reach sleep up to six guests, and is as comfortable for couples who like some extra space around them, as it is for families on a bucket-and-spade holiday, or groups of friends who want to stay together while maintaining their own space and privacy.

Ocean Reach has a restaurant (also offering take-aways) and bar, so you are only a few steps away from a delicious meal and a refreshing drink if you do not feel like cooking dinner. Ocean Reach is on Bolberry Down which borders the South West Coastal Path, and is just one and a half miles from the popular Hope and Anchor pub in Hope Cove. Kingsbridge and Salcombe are both a short drive or pleasant cycle away, while Totnes and Dartmoor National Park are within half an hour by car. The market towns and surrounding area are full of charming cafes, independent shops and excellent pubs serving local produce, as well as historic buildings, local museums and beautiful country houses.

As lovely as the towns and villages are, it is the stunning coast and beautiful countryside that draws people to South Devon. Ocean Reach is close to world-class beaches such as Hope Cove, South Milton Sands, Thurlestone, Bantham and Burgh Island. The Kingsbridge Estuary is perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, while Salcombe is a favourite with those who like to sail. Dartmoor’s ancient landscape and granite tors are within driving distance and provide fantastic opportunities for walking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding; and there are two reputable golf clubs within ten miles of Ocean Reach.

Two Ocean Reach is finished to an exceptionally high standard, with top quality appliances and furnishings. Underfloor heating accentuates the open-plan design, allowing your eye to be drawn to the beautiful views through the large windows and sliding glass doors.

The owners have given great care to anticipate their guests' needs, providing extras like hair dryers, books, maps, guidebooks and information about the local area. Younger guests are well catered for with a highchair, cot, toys and games.

Accommodation Comprises:

  • Sleeps six guests in three bedrooms, all of which have sea views.
  • Bedroom one has a king sized bed and en-suite with shower, bath, WC, handbasin and heated towel rail. This master suite benefits from doors that open directly onto the paved patio and lawn area.
  • Bedroom two is a generous double featuring a king sized bed, as well as glass sliding doors opening onto the patio.
  • Bedroom three is a twin room with two full sized single beds.
  • A ground floor family shower room has a shower cubicle, WC and handbasin.
  • 'Jack and Jill' style bathroom with bath as well as separate shower.
  • The sleek fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee maker and a good complement of cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery.
  • Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • The living area has comfortable seating for six guests and is decorated in white and fresh pastels which enhance the ocean views. There is a dining table and seating for eight people.
  • Glass doors open from the living room onto a large terrace where there is further seating at a table for 8-10 people.
  • There is a smaller balcony with views towards Burgh Island.
  • Outside, there are two designated car parking spaces.

Additional information: Unfortunately dogs cannot be accepted in Two Ocean Reach (but they are accepted free of charge in Three Ocean Reach). There is WiFi and central heating throughout. All utilities, linen and towels are included. Short breaks are possible, and the property can be rented alongside Three Ocean Reach (depending on availability) to sleep up to ten guests. No smoking.
