Bryher sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and is a charming semi-detached holiday cottage in an enviable position looking over the picturesque Axe Valley. Ideally placed only a mile from Seaton on the South Devon coastline, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site.
Situated Colyford village, a highly desirable holiday destination located between East Devon and West Dorset. The area is a quiet, peaceful location where you can escape away and relax amongst beautiful rolling countryside and lovely beaches.
There are plenty of attractions close by for those who enjoy walking, sailing, fishing, golfing and horse riding. Alternatively why not simply relax on one of the beautiful beaches where you can search for fossils or explore the rock pools. There is a bird sanctuary just five minute's walk away. For the little ones, a trip to Crealy Adventure Park, Pecorama with its model railways at the seaside village of Beer and the Seaton Tramway taking you on a scenic adventure by the side of the River Axe through two nature reserves (great for wildlife enthusiasts!) are sure to be holiday highlights.
The house is surrounded by pretty countryside and Colyford village offers a Post Office, stores, butchers and two pubs, as well as a restaurant. An open-top tram runs through Colyford and can be seen from the house.
The seaside towns of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are an easy ten minute drive and there are plenty of restaurants locally where you can sample the freshest of seafood.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Exeter City and Somerset's county town of Taunton are both forty minutes by car.
Bryher is situated in a beautiful area where you can enjoy the local pleasures of walking the South West Coastal Path, fossil hunting at Lyme Regis, stopping for a fresh crab sandwich on Beer beach or a cream tea or bargain hunting in Honiton's great choice of antique shops.
