Inside, you’ll find two welcoming sitting rooms – one with a cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for family evenings together, and the other offering a quiet retreat for reading or catching up on work. The spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with contemporary appliances, ideal for cooking up a family feast to share over a glass of wine. Guests can make use of Wi-Fi throughout the cottage, and on arrival will find a thoughtful welcome hamper filled with local produce. A wood-burning stove, with logs supplied, adds to the cosy atmosphere. Entertainment is provided via a digital TV with DVD player and a separate sound system with radio. The cottage is stocked with quality bed linen, towels, and a selection of toiletries. The kitchen comes fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a hearty Sunday roast, with appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer. An iron and ironing board are provided, while laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) can be accessed in a nearby building if required. Families are well catered for, with a cot and highchair available on request. Four-legged friends are also welcome – either one large dog or up to two small/medium breeds.

The location is perfect for a walking or cycling holiday, and the self-catering property has a lockable garage so you can store bikes, SUPs, kayaks and other equipment.
