The building itself dates back to the late18th century which has been sympathetically restored to show the period features of the property. The property is located in the village main street giving direct access to both local pubs and village shop as well as providing an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Boasting unique facilities such as unlimited Wi-Fi Internet, Smart TVs and a Pool/Games Room Rowel House is the perfect destination for a family getaway within the beautiful backdrop of Dentdale. The self-catering cottage, named for the stunning outlook over Pen-y-Ghent, is in the Yorkshire Dales village of Horton in Ribblesdale. It's only a short walk to the local cafe - the official starting point for the Three Peaks Challenge, two pubs, and the Pennine Way. There is space for four people to sleep in two bedrooms, with one or two well-behaved dogs also welcome. Settle and Ingleborough are nearby, and you can reach Kendal and the Lake District in around an hour's drive.
