3 Bed Family Lodge is in a fantastic location close to the spectacular Yorkshire Dales National Park, enjoying a peaceful position and beautiful views. It is one of a collection of award-winning luxury lodges on the estate, offering up to six people a high standard of accommodation only five minutes from Richmond. The flexible layout is ideal for couples, families or friends with comfortable furnishings and a fantastic location that make the lodge ideal for a self-catering holiday in the Yorkshire Dales in any season.
Despite its proximity to the charming market town of Richmond, the setting is wonderfully peaceful, allowing guests to sit quietly on the wooden deck and enjoy listening to the birds with no distracting noise of traffic to mar the serenity. Wander around the nearby woodland and meadows, or jump on your bike to explore further afield. This part of England is renowned for the quality of opportunities for walking, climbing, road cycling and mountain biking, and there is always something new and exciting to discover right around the corner.
Once you've had your fill of exercise, make a beeline for Richmond where there is a wealth of excellent places ready to feed even the heartiest of appetites. The lodge is well-equipped for self-catering, and you will find an excellent array of local produce at Richmond's busy Saturday market or in one of its numerous independent shops. Richmond also has a thriving arts scene with galleries and regular exhibits that showcase the work of local artists.
Local attractions include Richmond Castle, Easby Abbey and Mainsgill Farm. Further afield, but still well within reach for a fun-filled day out include the historic cities of Durham, York and Harrogate, the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the North York Moors National Park and the North Pennines.
The North Yorkshire landscape is breathtaking in every season to make it a fantastic year-round holiday destination. There is so much to see and do within easy reach that guests simply won't have time to be bored, while the opportunities for relaxing are plentiful. Your holiday can be as adventurous or as laid back as you are.

The lodges boast a high standard of fixtures and furnishings throughout, together with a light-filled open plan layout and beautiful views. Accommodation is all on one level.
Outside: A wooden deck stretches the width of the lodge and has furniture for outdoor meals. There is allocated parking close by.
Additional Information: All utilities, bed linen and bath towels are provided. A high chair and travel cot (not bedding) are available - please let the owner's know when booking. Short breaks are possible at certain times of the year, depending on availability. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at an additional cost through prior arrangement. Smoking is not permitted.
