About Hazel Brow House

Hazel Brow House is a gorgeous holiday home in the quiet village of Low Row in the Yorkshire Dales. Picture the perfect period country house, and you'll only be halfway there. This gem is beautifully furnished to an exceptionally high standard, sleeping up to 15 people in eight luxuriously appointed bedrooms with spectacular views over the magnificent Swaledale Valley. It's ideal for a fun holiday with friends, a family reunion, to celebrate Christmas or a milestone birthday, or as a backdrop for your wedding or vow renewal. The village pub, the Punch Bowl Inn, is only half a mile down the road, and there are fantastic footpaths and cycling routes from the door including a private footpath to the River Swale.

Low Row is ideal for anyone who appreciates incredible views, sparkling night skies, and breathtaking views. You're less than a ten-minute stroll from the River Swale and only three miles from Reeth, where there are three pubs, several cafes, a visitor centre, and a market every Friday on the village green. More amenities, including a choice of supermarkets, are around half an hour away in Richmond. This historic market town is an excellent place to while away a few hours browsing shops, visiting the Norman castle, and enjoying its many cafes, restaurants, and bars.

You can spend days out walking or cycling through the famous moors, which are covered with a breathtaking shade of purple heather every summer. Wensleydale and its famous creamery are a scenic 11 miles across the moors and a great bike ride or long walk destination. Local attractions include Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force waterfall. You can go to The Forbidden Corner, tour the Black Sheep Brewery, and take a ride on the Wensleydale Railway. History lovers will enjoy visiting Kiplin Hall and Middleham Castle, and the kids will love Bolton Castle and Ariel Extreme. The Dales Mountain bike centre gives a taste of the incredible local trails and have bikes available for all ages, including electric bikes for those who need a bit extra pedal power! Guests who prefer to enjoy the scenery at a slower pace can do so on a guided alpaca trek.

Hazel Brow House is available for bookings all year round, with short breaks possible depending on availability. Talk to the owners if you are planning a special event, and they can advise on the particular packages they can provide for weddings, corporate events, and family celebrations.
