Recently refurbished, this charming holiday cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom with a sumptuous superking-sized bed and views worth getting up early for! It is in the hamlet of Hartoft, close to Rosedale Abbey and Pickering and within easy reach of York and Whitby. The cottage is ideal for couples or individuals who love walking, cycling, the coast, museums, country houses, sightseeing and eating well!

Built in the 1880's for the Vicar, in the iron working boom times in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, the Vicarage has been lovingly restored to its former glory, retaining many of its original features. The house provides a perfect setting for a friends gathering or multi generational celebration and is set in 2 acres of grounds on the edge of the pretty village, with stunning views from every window of the moors and green slopes of the Rosedale valley. There are 8 bedrooms: 2 Kingsize ensuites, 2 Queensize ensuites, 2 twin rooms with ensuites and a further 2 twin rooms which share a family bathroom. The 2 twin ensuite rooms have the additional benefit of 'ziplock' beds which can be converted to a Queensize bed. There is ample parking with space for over 8 cars available. The 4 beautiful reception rooms, large kitchen and stunning decking area provide plenty of entertaining space for a truly relaxing break with friends and/or family. 

This Yorkshire holiday cottage is part of a 200-year-old former watermill in Rosedale Abbey in the North York Moors National Park. It sleeps seven people in three bedrooms and is ideal for holidays with family and friends. This area is excellent for walking and cycling and boasts attractions like Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside are also just a short drive away. Flamingoland is around half an hour's drive from the cottage, as is the gorgeous Yorkshire coast and beaches like Whitby, Staithes, and Robin Hood's Bay. It's available for bookings all year round with short breaks possible outside of school holidays. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
