The Dales town of Grassington (the filming location for "All Creatures Great and Small"), Parcevall Hall Gardens, Bolton Abbey, and the steam railway at Embsay are very short drives. Further afield, visit where the Brontës lived in Haworth, the UNESCO World Heritage site at Fountains Abbey or the gardens at Newby Hall and Harlow Carr.
