Rosedale Holiday Cottages are located within the North Yorkshire Moors National park in a relaxing and tranquil position. They make an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Heritage Coast, the Moors, pretty little villages and the towns at any time of the year.
Set within one acre of grounds, there are four luxurious holiday cottages (sleeping from 2 to 8) which were formerly stables, outbuildings and also quarters for the servants! Today providing holiday accommodation that has lots of original character, the properties can be rented separately or in any combination but please check change over days in mid and high seasons!
Ideally situated, the cottages sit in Port Mulgrave approximately a mile from both Staithes and Runswick Bay.
Staithes is a picturesque seaside village which is popular with artists and tourists. It offers a good choice of restaurants, pubs and cafe's along with antique and craft shops. Its little cobbled streets meander their way down to the sandy beach and rock pools, providing the perfect place for children to play and adults to relax.
Runswick Bay is also just a stones throw away and a picture-postcard seaside village that has attracted visitors for many years. Little cottages appear to tumble down the steep cliffside to the seafront below where a lovely beach can be found.
Situated within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park this is an excellent base for anyone who enjoys walking with both spectacular cliff-top footpaths and dramatic rugged moorland walks. The Cleveland Way National Coastal Trail is easily accessible just a few minutes from the cottages, and there are a good network of footpaths taking you inland which are accessible from the front door.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Whitby, Sandsend, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough are all within easy reach.

The Old Stable: This holiday cottage provides a perfect retreat for family holidays or friends who want to holiday together.

Additional information: There is a Smart television with DVD, blue tooth speaker, shaver point, iron/board. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted TV. Central heating, hot water, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi are included in the price. There is car parking in the courtyard. There is a separate Coach House where guests have the shared use of the washing machine, tumble dryer (a small additional charge applies) and sink. There is direct from the property on to an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and barbecues providing a nice place for guests to relax. (NB, this garden is technically shared with the upstairs apartment but in practice they tend to use the decking area in the courtyard) Children and pets are very welcome. All buildings have a strict no-smoking/vaping policy. Short breaks (three or four nights) are available during low season when available and during mid season three to four weeks prior to arrival. During the busy high season a Saturday changeover day applies.
