About Swan View Apartment

Swan View Apartment is a perfect example of how well a Victorian townhouse can be converted into a comfortable and useable space for 21st Century living. The elegant ground-floor holiday home is in the chic area of Low Harrogate, a short walk from the centre of town, Royal Hall and Harrogate's Convention Centre. You won't find a better location to stay, whether you're staying in town for a holiday or business. It's ideal for couples, friends or individuals. The large bedroom has a kingsize bed, and there's a comfortable sofa bed in the living room that doubles the accommodation to four people. A well-behaved dog is welcome through prior arrangement.

Harrogate is a top choice for a holiday. The Victorian's loved it as a spa town, flocking here to "take the waters" and indulge in luxurious treatments at the Turkish Baths, which remain one of the town's most stylish destinations. The Montpellier Quarter is the place to go for chic clothing, homewares and antique boutiques. Also nearby and highly recommended is a promenade around Valley Gardens. In addition to its spectacular scenery, Yorkshire is famous for its love of tea. Taylor's of Harrogate has been blending tea and coffee for generations, creating the famous Yorkshire Tea blend in the 1970s to suit Yorkshire water. Betty's Tearooms is part of the Taylors of Harrogate family and the best place in town for a pot of tea with a wedge of cake after a busy morning shopping or a more refined high tea experience to set you up for the evening ahead.

Outside of Harrogate, the magnificent NorthYorkshire Dales await. Walking, mountain biking and road cycling are hugely popular with plenty of variety to suit all abilities. Climbing and potholing are also readily accessible. Day trips can include sightseeing and shopping in York, admiring the magnificence of Castle Howard, or discovering the utterly captivating charms of places like Fountains Abbey, Knaresborough, Ripon and Pateley Bridge.

Swan View Apartment is an elegant ground floor street-level apartment with a bay window overlooking the famous Old Swan Hotel. The apartment is all on one level but there is one step up to the front door of the main building.

  • Living/dining room with wonderful high ceilings, a decorative fireplace, comfortable furnishings and views out over the Old Swan Hotel all adding the elegant charm of the apartment. There is a dining table seating four in the bay window and a TV with Freesat channels. One of two sofas opens into a full-sized double bed.
  • Fitted kitchen at the rear of the apartment, well-equipped for self-catering.
  • Bedroom with a kingsize bed, built-in storage, and an elegant chandelier.
  • Modern bathroom with a shower, WC and a handbasin.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. There is off-street parking for one small car and guests are provided with an on-street parking permit. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Prices are based on two people sharing and a supplement is charged for a third and fourth guest. Additional £30 cleaning supplement applies and a £20 supplement for one well-behaved dog per stay.
