Fern Pippin sleeps four guests in two bedrooms (plus an additional two on a sofa bed) and is located at Notter Mill Country Holiday Park. Nestling in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within walking distance of the river Lyhner, Notter Mill Country Holiday Park offers a choice of holiday homes, some which are dog friendly (two dogs maximum), others with hot tubs and those which are wheelchair accessible. With excellent on-site facilities, this is an ideal place for a family holiday and to use as a base for exploring the relatively unspoilt areas of South East Cornwall and West Devon.
For the past eleven years, Notter Mill Country Holiday Park has been successful in gaining the David Bellamy Gold Award due to its fantastic efforts in recycling, wild flower cultivation and low carbon emissions. In addition, four of the holiday homes have been awarded a Four Star rating by enjoy England.
The Park offers a host of facilities to keep all ages amused including an outdoor swimming pool, badminton, tennis court, football pitch and lovely conservation walks in a pretty river setting. If that is not enough to keep the little ones amused, there is also a children’s play area with slide and swing and acres of room for them to let off steam.
A haven for wildlife, many birds visit the park including woodpeckers, buzzards, kingfishers, herons, owls and the notoriously shy jays. If you are lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of deer, badgers, squirrels and foxes, along with some beautiful wild flowers at certain times of the year.
Sitting just half a mile from the A38, Notter Mill Country Holiday Park affords easy access to the many attractions that this part of the South West has to offer. The City of Plymouth with its restaurants, shops, Barbican area and National Marine Aquarium; pretty fishing villages of Polperro and Looe; Lost Gardens of Helligan; Eden Project and Dartmoor National Park are just a few of the attractions within easy reach.
