Kilton Mill House is just perfect for a seaside holiday and sits on North Yorkshire's stunning coast, on the edge of the little fishing village of Skinningrove with a friendly pub and lovely beach within walking distance. Just ten minutes drive from Runswick Bay and only five from Staithes and the Victorian seaside gem of Saltburn, Kilton Mill House is an excellent retreat for exploring the many attractions of Yorkshire or simply relaxing by the sea.
Beautifully presented and equipped throughout, Kilton Mill House sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms. Whilst this Grade II listed property gives the appearance of a pretty cottage from the outside, it offers deceptively spacious accommodation with a lovely mix of cosy charm, elegance and modern conveniences - a perfect choice for families (one or two) and friends. The cottage was built way back in the 18th Century (so old, it is mentioned in the Doomsday Book) when it was used as the residence for the miller of the neighbouring water mill (which is still working but now a private property).
Well placed, Kilton Mill House lends itself well to a holiday of many kinds, whether you are seeking relaxation or adventure. It sits on the edge of the North York Moors offering outdoor activities in abundance for all energy levels. Spend your days hiking the Cleveland Way - a stunning (and challenging!) 109-mile long-distance footpath spanning the Moors and coast; wandering along the pier at Saltburn, ice cream in hand; lazing on one of the many beaches along the coast; or exploring the picturesque villages that pepper the glorious countryside and moorland of North Yorkshire.
Whether you are booking a family holiday by the sea or a break away with friends, Kilton Mill House offers a warm welcome at any time of the year.
