LOCATION & ACCESS
Thisledo Holiday Cottage is ideally located in central Skipton. The railway station is less than a 15-minute walk away or about 5 minutes by taxi. The bus station is a similar distance. Leeds Bradford Airport is the nearest and is less than an hour’s drive from the cottage.
Situated just off Gargrave Road, the cottage is only a 5-minute walk from Skipton town centre, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, and pubs to enjoy in the evenings.
KEYS & HOST SUPPORT
Keys are left in a secure keybox at the cottage. We provide the keycode and directions before your arrival. We live locally and are available to assist if you need any help during your stay.
WHAT’S PROVIDED
All bedding, towels, and teatowels are included in your booking.
PARKING
Thisledo does not have a dedicated parking space, but there is ample street parking within a short walk. For your convenience, short-term parking is available just a few yards from the front door for loading and unloading on arrival and departure days.
PLEASE NOTE
The cottage has a steep staircase with 13 steps leading upstairs, which may be challenging for some guests with limited mobility.
MAIN ENTRANCE
Enter through a small fenced yard area with a garden bench for two. The front door opens into a cloakroom with access to the sitting room.
DINING ROOM & LOUNGE
The lounge includes:
- Large two-seater leather sofa
- Drop-leaf dining table with two chairs
- Smart TV with access to streaming services
- TV Soundbar, DVD player, and BOSE CD player/radio
SELF-CATERING KITCHEN
The fully equipped L-shaped kitchen features:
- Electric cooker and hob
- De Longhi coffee machine
- Microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge,dishwasher
- Freezer and tumble dryer are located in the outbuilding in the rear yard
OUTDOOR SPACE
From the kitchen door, access the enclosed stone-paved rear yard with a bistro table and two chairs—perfect for relaxing or dining outside.

Upstairs (13-step staircase), the bedroom has:
