Say hello to Keldy: a luxurious two-bedroom holiday cottage with a hot tub, located on the High Oaks Grange estate in the North York Moors national park. The cottage sleeps up to four guests, so whether you’re visiting nearby attractions such as Flamingo Land, or simply looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside, a short break in Keldy will be an enjoyable staycation for the whole family.
Inside Keldy Cottage
You enter this well-presented cottage via a bright and airy porch, and then continue through to the open plan living space on the ground floor. The lounge area features a cosy wood-burning stove and comfortable sofas; perfect for snuggling up with a good book and perhaps a glass of wine!
Speaking of which, no self-catering cottage is complete without a fully-equipped kitchen. Keldy's features all the amenities you would expect, alongside a dishwasher, wine cooler, and a washer dryer. All kitchen utensils, crockery, and glassware are provided for you, and you will receive a welcome hamper full of local treats on arrival.
As you venture upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed, and a pleasant view over the central courtyard. It features a dressing table and large wardrobe. The second bedroom features twin beds which, on request, can be joined to form a super-king-size bed. This room overlooks your enclosed garden, and also features a dressing table and wardrobe. Throughout High Oaks Grange you will find luxury Hypnos mattresses in every bedroom, ensuring plenty of peaceful sleep.
The luxurious family bathroom has a large bath and overhead shower. Your bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are all provided.
Entertainment For All
We have the whole family covered with the smart entertainment system in Keldy Cottage, and you can always stay connected to our high speed WiFi. Simply pop in the password and connect your devices, ready to post holiday snaps, watch a movie, or plan tomorrow’s adventure.
In the lounge you will find a 40” LCD Smart TV with Google Chromecast, bringing thousands of movies, live sport* and catch up TV to your fingertips. Both bedrooms in the cottage have wall-mounted Smart TVs, for those lazy mornings you can enjoy on holiday.
Outside Keldy Cottage
To the rear of Keldy Cottage there is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor seating and a barbecue, so you can enjoy some al fresco dining when the sun is shining. If a hot tub is a must-have requirement for your holiday cottage, you’ll be pleased to know that Keldy has its own private hot tub outside. At the end of a long day of sightseeing in the North York Moors, you can enjoy a soothing soak and let your body unwind. The hot tub is optimally heated to around 38 degrees: slightly higher than the average core body temperature, which has a naturally therapeutic effect on the body.
At the front of the cottage, you have access to a raised patio with seating overlooking a central courtyard garden and views towards the Vale of Pickering.
Parking is available for one car at the cottage, and further parking is available onsite. Keldy cottage is accessed via a short passageway at the rear of the property.
Dog Friendly
We know how much fun it is to bring your dog on holiday with you, and with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep, Keldy Cottage is the perfect dog friendly holiday cottage for you and your furry friend. Dogs are charged £8.00 per night per dog. We provide bowls for your dog during your stay, and also some treats. Holiday collar tags with our contact details on are available from reception, for you to use during your stay.

High Oaks Grange is a fabulous collection of 5* Cottages, Contemporary Lodges, Woodland Lodges and Glamping Pods located on our 60-acre estate in the North York Moors national park. High Oaks Grange is only 1 mile from picturesque Thornton le Dale and the market town of Pickering. You will find country pubs, cafes and restaurants in both towns.
There is so much to do in this fabulous area of Yorkshire including the North York Moors Railway, Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Eden Camp and of course the North York Moors National Park. Further afield we are only 30 minutes from the beautiful Yorkshire Coast and the historic city of York ... there are amazing places and attractions to visit during your stay with us.
High Oaks Grange is the ideal place for a dog friendly short break with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep, plus a 20 acre field on the estate to exercise your pets!
