Diana's Cottage is a 16th Century former diary, located on Buckland Barton farming estate in the village of Braunton in North Devon. The exposed beams, high vaulted ceilings and antique furnishings provide plenty of character and charm, whilst you will find all the mod cons you would expect in a contemporary self-catering holiday cottage. The spacious and sociable kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, whilst the comfortable sofas in the cosy lounge are the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day. During the summer months potter out onto the sunny patio with your morning coffee or venture into the secret garden to enjoy some peace and quiet. Sleeping up to five guests in two pretty bedrooms, this is the perfect cottage for couples and families looking for a self-catering holiday in North Devon.
Ideally located in the vibrant village of Braunton, Diana's Cottage is just a short walk to the village shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a village Museum and Information Centre for those interested in the fascinating history of Braunton, a working model railway for train fans and the Museum of British Surfing for surf enthusiasts to explore when the weather isn't on your side. Sitting within North Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there are also plenty of fantastic walks on the doorstep and just three miles from the cottage you will find Braunton Burrows, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve which is the largest sand dune system in England.
North Devon is a beach lovers and surfer's paradise, and Braunton is no exception. The popular long sandy beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are all less than a fifteen minute drive away. Join a surf school, build some sand castles or simply get your fix of salty sea air and Devon ice cream. Just a little further away is the award winning aquarium (and more beaches!) in the pretty seaside resort of Ilfracombe or enjoy a family day out at the Milky Way Adventure Park near Clovelly or the Dinosaur Park near Combe Martin. If you ever tire of the fantastic seascapes it is just half and hours drive to the wild landscapes of Exmoor or spend a day exploring the shops, markets and eateries in the nearby town of Barnstaple.

Outside: Hidden behind a wall and high wooden gate you will find your own private enclosed garden. With a lawn, table and chairs, BBQ and selection of outdoor games this is a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day. There is also off road parking.
Additional information: All utilities, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included. Changeover day is usually Saturday but short breaks are available outside peak season. Dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement.
