There is space for 30 people to sleep in 15 stylish bedrooms, each with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The northern Lakeland fells are a favourite for walking and mountain biking. You're close to the River Lowther for fly fishing, and to Penrith, Carlisle, Ullswater, and the Scottish border for sightseeing. The farmhouse can be booked on its own for smaller groups of up to 16 people. 

Fieldgate Barn sits in Bampton's quiet Lowther Valley and is a 16th-century stone barn that's been transformed into a holiday cottage for 14 people plus two extra children. Seven ensuite bedrooms make it work well for big families or groups marking special occasions like a wedding or a big birthday. You'll find exposed beams and original oak kingpins alongside modern additions like underfloor heating. The self-catering accommodation puts you close to Bampton village, with the Coast to Coast Walk and Ullswater both nearby. There's plenty of space outside for BBQs and parking. Penrith's shops and restaurants are ten miles down the road, making this holiday rental a good base for exploring the Lake District fells.
