Fronhaul is a pretty five star holiday cottage that is located in an enviable position within beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. The holiday cottage provides the perfect relaxing country retreat, set within extensive grounds with a babbling brook meandering its way to the former mill pond and now a peaceful spot for trout fishing.
The holiday apartment is a spacious and attractive contemporary style, annex which is self contained and provides all the comfort and style you would expect from five star holiday accommodation, including beds made up for your arrival. The owners have paid considerable attention to detail both inside and out to ensure you stay is a memorable one.
The owner, Beat is available to welcome you upon arrival and familiarise you with your holiday home and its facilities. A mid-week laundry change is also available. The fire will be lit in the stove so that you can instantly relax and unwind (apart from on hot summer days!).
The outer garden is available for you to use at your leisure and provides the perfect place for relaxing. There is garden furniture available and should you fancy trying your hand at fishing, there are brown trout weighing a minimum of one pound in the pond which you can BBQ right there and then (£5 each).
The surrounding area is exceptionally peaceful with no immediate neighbours. Just the owners chickens, ducks and dog Fifi, along with horses and possibly a few cows in the surrounding fields. Fronhaul is accessible via a private track that is shared only with the neighbours some five hundred meters down the track, so there is no traffic noise to interrupt your stay.
Little Newcastle is the local village and consists of a handful of houses arranged around the Village Green, and the local pub, The Swan. It also has a charming small historic church, which is known for its unusual windows and dates back to the 12th Century.
For those who enjoy bird watching and walking, you will not be disapointed with wonderful walks from your front door. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Gwaun Valley and Preseli Hills are too within easy reach. You will find lovely and famous beaches, horse riding, golf, fishing, water sports, leisure centre, swimming pool, cinema, theatre and also the ferries to Ireland - so much just waiting to be explored!
