Markington Cottages are two lovely coastal holiday homes in a fantastic location less than 200 metres from the beach at Broad Haven in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Shops, cafes, friendly pubs like The Galleon Inn, The Ocean Cafe and other amenities are all within walking distance, making the cottage a comfortable and stress-free choice for a self-catering holiday with family or friends. Both three-bedroom cottages sleep up to six / seven people, nine if using the sofa bed and are available for long weekends, short breaks and longer stays all year round.
Broad Haven is a favourite holiday destination, with many holidaymakers returning to its sandy shores year after year. The Blue Flag beach is perfect for swimming, while children enjoy playing in the sand or poking around in the rock pools at the foot of the cliff. The Pembrokeshire Coast Footpath passes through the village, offering views not only of the cliffs and ocean but also of the birds and wildlife that thrive in this protected area. Walking south along the way-marked footpath will take hikers to Little Haven and St Brides, while the trail to the north leads to Newgale, Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven. There is a regular bus service, the Puffin Shuttle, that runs close to the footpath to make it easier to explore without having a car.
You do not have to restrict your holiday in Broad Haven to the summer because the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has plenty on offer in every season. Walking and cycling are always a favourite, with more adventurous guests booking a guided coasteering experience. Take a boat trip to see the resident dolphins and porpoises, or to Skomer Island Nature Reserve which has one of Britain's most significant populations of puffins.
St David's, Tenby, Solva, Haverfordwest, and Narbeth are all within easy reach for a fun day out, as are favourite attractions like Pembroke Castle. There are castles and golf courses, museums, markets and indoor play centres so it's easy to plan a holiday that everyone will love when you stay at Markington Cottages. In reasonable driving distance there is Folly Farm, Oakwood, Heatherton World of Adventures, Tenby Dinosaur Park, Annas Welsh Zoo (Manor Park), Pirate Petes at Phoenix Bowl, Scolton Manor.

Markington Cottages are both recently refurbished homes with a traditional layout and accommodation over two levels. It is on a private lane with no passing traffic.

Outside: Each cottage has a secure lockable back garden and off-street parking for up to two cars on a private drive, plus room for a smaller car outside the property.
Additional Information: All utilities, Fibre broadband / WiFi and bed linen included, guests to bring their own bath and beach towels. Guests to supply cot bedding and bath towels if necessary. Well behaved dogs are welcome through prior arrangement - please let the owner know when booking. Smoking is not permitted.

We have 2 smaller properties, each can sleep up to 4 in the next village Little Haven. Please note calendar is for 2 cottages, so when blocked both cottages are booked.
