The Cow Shed is one of a collection of 5-Star eco-friendly cottages close to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and within easy reach of the beach at Newgale Sands. The self-catering cottage sleeps up to six people in three well-appointed bedrooms with guests enjoying beautiful views and lots of space both indoors and out. The cottage layout makes it suitable for couples, families and friends.
Why stay in Pembrokeshire if you can't sit back and appreciate far-reaching views? Asheston Eco Barns sits in more than 22 private acres and guests can enjoy peace while remaining close to some of the region's favourite sights and attractions. Start your day with a lazy breakfast on the terrace followed by a day at the beach or walking along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath where the owners highly recommend the picturesque stretch between Newgale Sands and Druidston. Alternatively, make your way along Roch Ridge, Great Treffgarne Mountain and Great Treffgarne Rocks for dramatic views of the Western Cleddau gorge. The Preseli Mountains are within easy reach, as are paths through the Anghof Valley and Sealyham.
Cycling and mountain biking are two more ways to work up an appetite in this gorgeous landscape. Head out along a stretch of the long-distance Celtic Trail or hire a bike and tackle the variety of off-road trails at Llys-y-Fran Country Park and Reservoir. Fishing, golf and coasteering are just three more of many fun outdoor activities, giving guests plenty of choices when planning a fun day out regardless of the season.
Day trips can include sightseeing in St David's which has been an important site for pilgrims since well before the construction of its magnificent Norman cathedral in 1131. Its cathedral gives St David's city status, but its size is more that of a market town and visitors can expect a good choice of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. Another excellent place for a day out is Solva where there is a pretty harbour and a wide selection of amenities.

Part of The Cow Shed's eco-credentials includes using original and sustainable materials where possible, including thick stone walls that act as natural insulation, and solid wood beams. Heating and appliances are all fuel-efficient to ensure guests enjoy a high standard of comfort all year round.

Outside: The Cow Shed has both a front and rear patio which include a barbecue and seating area. Guests also have shared use of the extensive grounds which include a children's play area, fenced wildlife pond, fields and woodland.
Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Baby equipment including a cot (no bedding), highchair and stairgate are available, and the owners can also set up a toddler bed on request. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
