The Annexe is a newly refurbished self-catering cottage in Little Haven, surrounded by woodland and barely a five-minute stroll to the beach, two pubs with great menus, and a friendly cafe. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a flexible layout, it's perfect for couples, families or up to four friends who don't want to sacrifice location for comfort.
Little Haven is a quiet village with lots of character. The former fishing village has a slipway, an RNLI station, and a beach that expands from a sheltered cove at high tide to a wide sandy beach at low tide. It's on the Pembrokeshire Coast Footpath with lovely walks north to Broad Haven and Nolton Haven and south to St Brides and Marloes. The seasonal Puffin Shuttle 400 service makes it easy to explore far and wide. Cycling and mountain biking are also popular ways to enjoy the landscape, with a wide choice of waymarked routes and bridleways around the coast and through the countryside. Little Haven is ideal for swimming, as is the neighbouring cove known locally as The Sheep Wash. A mile north, Broad Haven is popular for surfing, bodyboarding, SUPs, and windsurfing, with lessons and equipment hire available.
You won't run out of ways to have fun when you stay at The Annexe in Little Haven. Once you've walked the coastal path and gone for a swim, why not go sightseeing in St Davids, have lunch and go crabbing from the harbour wall in Solva, browse weekly markets in Narbeth or Haverfordwest, visit Pembroke Castle, or treat yourself to ice cream after walking around Tenby's three beaches. Don't miss seeing the isolated beauty of St Govan's Chapel and Barafundle Bay - it's easy to see why the latter has been voted Britain's most beautiful beach (though Little Haven runs a very close second!) Folly Farm is a year-round family-favourite attraction, as is the Blue Lagoon Water Park, while Oakwood Theme Park is open between Easter and October half term.
The Annexe can be booked on its own or together with adjacent Howelston Mill Cottage, which sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, making the location ideal for extended families or groups of friends who want a seaside holiday in the Pembrokeshire National Park. The owner personally manages and cleans the property and cannot accept any parties (e.g. hen or stag parties).
