Set in the heart of North Norfolk, Courtyard Barn is within easy reach of the many spectacular sights and attractions that make Norfolk so popular. The attractive Georgian market town of Holt with its cafes, inns and nature trails is just six miles; the spectacular Norfolk coast with is beautiful golden beaches and RSPB nature reserves is ten miles; and the bustling Medieval City of Norwich with its cathedral, restaurants and superb shopping is eighteen miles away providing a great day out.
Perfectly nestling in a tranquil position with an enclosed lawned garden, Courtyard Barn provides spacious detached holiday accommodation. Furnished to a high degree of comfort and style, the barn has all the expected modern day comforts, along with an internal games room with full size snooker table. All bedrooms (except one) and principal reception rooms are on the ground floor and the barn sits within the owners grounds of some seven acres of woodland and paddocks where horses graze.
Guests are welcome to walks the grounds and there are footpaths starting from the front door providing excellent walking opportunities. The surrounding quiet lanes also provide great cycling opportunities and the nearest pub and shop are in the neighbouring village of Briston just two and a half miles away.
Travel a little further and visit Blakeney Quay (ten miles) where you can take a boat trip to visit the basking seals and the Blakeny Point National Trust reserve or enjoy sailing and the thrill of the waves. The traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cromer have plenty of attractions or travel a little further (an hour's drive) and visit the Norfolk Broads and hire a boat (or take a river trip) to explore the waterways which are a haven for wildlife.

Outside: There is a big garden laid to lawn and courtyard area with garden furniture. Guests also have the use of the grounds (some seven acres including paddocks and woods) with pleasant walks and space to relax. Please be aware that there is a pond (which is unfenced) in the wooded area. Off-road parking for four cars.
Additional information: Accommodation may be suitable for people with limited mobility as it is all on one level (except the twin bedroom accessed via a ladder staircase) - it is suggested you speak to the owner to discuss your personal requirements before booking. Electricity, full oil central heating (under floor), bed linen and towels are included in the price. Travel cot available upon request as well as a high chair. Wi-Fi internet available throughout the property. No smoking. Short breaks often available (although unlikely during peak season) - please enquire with the owner. Two dogs maximum accepted ( an additional charge of £25 applies per dog).
