Brightside was built in 2016 and is eight guests. Sitting in the heart of the bustling Norfolk village of Wroxham, this is a superb location for sailing, fishing and bird watching and is fabulous modern waterside retreat which affords an enviable detached position off the River Bure. Stylish and beautifully presented throughout, Brightside offers all the comforts of home with a location that is sure to impress whatever time of the year you visit. It also offers its guests the use of a rowing dinghy to explore the river.
Wroxham (on the right hand side of the river) and Hoveton (on the left) are divided by the River Bure with both villages normally referred to as Wroxham, one of the Norfolk Broads major boat hire centres. Often referred to as the 'Capital of the Broads', Wroxham lays claim to being the place where boating holidays first originated, dating as far back as the 1800's. It has remained an incredibly popular holiday destination over the years, not only due to its superb position in the heart of the Broads but also because of its excellent amenities including a good choice of pubs, tea rooms and shops with the most famous being Roys of Wroxham (which is claimed to be the country's largest village store!).
Visitors to Wroxham will find a great choice of things to do and attractions on the doorstep including lots of river based fun with boat hire, fishing and plenty of wildlife to spot. The coastline with lovely sandy beaches, golf courses, nature and wildlife trails and National Trust properties are also all within easy driving distance (just fifteen miles); and for those looking for culture, history and shopping, head to the City of Norwich (only twelve miles) with its beautiful cathedral, galleries, superb shopping, eating establishments, theatres and a castle.

Offering comfortable accommodation, this cottage is nicely placed in a peaceful backwater. It is ideal for couples, friends or families where you can feed the swans and ducks who come right up to the door. Fishing can also be enjoyed from the waterside garden and a day boat can easily be moored at the bottom of the garden.

Outside: Paved patio and grass to rear, quay heading and decking. Access to a dyke which in turn leads to the main river. Parking for two - three cars and additional parking on the road.
Additional information: Bed linen, duvets and unlimited WiFi are provided. Electricity and gas central heating are included. There is the use of a rowing dinghy (care should be taken with small children close to the waters edge). Well-behaved dogs (two maximum) are welcome, additional charges apply. The owners will sometimes consider other pets, please ask. Short breaks may be available - please enquire with owner. EV charging is available, at extra cost.
