Kingfisher Lure sleeps four guests and sits at the heart of popular Broadlands village of Wroxham in a superb position for those who enjoy fishing, sailing/watersports and bird watching. Wroxham (on the right hand side of the river) and Hoveton (on the left) are divided by the River Bure with both villages normally referred to as Wroxham, one of the Norfolk Broads major boat hire centres.
Known as the capital of the Broads, Wroxham is the place that boating holidays first started towards the end of the 1800's. It has gained popularity over the years and has much to offer holiday makers in the village with hotels, pubs and tea rooms along and near the river. There are a good choice of shops, with the most famous being Roys of Wroxham, possibly the country's largest village store.
Comfortable and welcoming, the cottage is perfectly placed in an enviable position on a peaceful backwater and ideal for families and couples alike, who enjoy having a little extra room around them. Enjoy walks alongside the river or try your hand at fishing from the waterside garden of the cottage, which is often visited by feathered friends who enjoy being fed from the door!
Visitors will find plenty of attractions locally including boat hire along the river, whilst sandy beaches, golf courses, National Trust properties and nature trails are all within just fifteen miles. The attractive cathedral city of Norwich is also within easy reach (just twelve miles) and boasts galleries, superb shopping, plenty of places to eat, theatres and a castle.

Outside: There is a small paved area at the front of the cottage and also a decked area at the back.
Additional information: Bed linen and duvets are provided. Electricity and gas central heating are included. There is the use of a rowing dinghy (care should be taken with small children close to the waters edge). Well-behaved dogs (two maximum) are welcome, additional charges apply. The owners will sometimes consider other pets, please ask. Short breaks may be available - please enquire with owner.
