Swan Cottage sleeps up to six guests and sits in an enviable riverside position in the very heart of the popular Norfolk village of Wroxham. Sitting in a quiet backwater just off the main River Bure, this is a fantastic location for those who enjoy sailing, fishing and bird watching and is an ideal retreat, offering all the comforts of home at any time of the year.
Known as the capital of the Broads, Wroxham is the place that boating holidays first started towards the end of the 1800's. It has gained popularity over the years and has much to offer holiday makers in the village with hotels, pubs and tea rooms near the river. There are a good choice of shops, with the most famous being Roys of Wroxham, possibly the country's largest village store.
Offering comfortable accommodation, this cottage is situated in a quiet backwater. It is ideal for couples or families, and you may enjoy feeding the swans and ducks, which will come up to the door. For those who enjoy fishing, you can fish from the cottages own waterside garden.
Visitors will find pubs, restaurants and boat hire along the river, whilst sandy beaches, golf courses, National Trust properties and nature trails are all within just fifteen miles. The attractive cathedral city of Norwich is also within easy reach (just twelve miles) and boasts galleries, superb shopping, plenty of places to eat, theatres and a castle.

Offering comfortable accommodation, this cottage sits in a peaceful backwater. It is ideal for couples, friends or families where you can feed the swans and ducks who come right up to the door. Fishing can also be enjoyed from the waterside garden.

Outside: There is a small unfenced riverside garden (from which you can fish) with furniture (young children must be supervised at all times). Parking for one car with additional roadside parking.
Additional information: Bed linen and duvets are provided. Towels available at extra cost, or please bring your own. There is an unfenced river - young children must be supervised. Electricity and gas central heating are included (reasonable use). There is the use of a rowing dinghy (care needs to be taken with little children when close to the waters edge). Well-behaved dogs (two maximum) are welcome, additional charges apply. The owners will sometimes consider other pets, please ask. Sorry no smoking inside the property. Short breaks may be available - please enquire with owner. Cot available.
