If you wake every morning with the urge to pull the covers back over your head, it's time to book a self-catering holiday at Lakeside Cottage. The former gamekeeper's cottage sleeps four people and has a path to a private jetty on the lake. It's set within a nature reserve a 20-minute walk from Silverdale, where there are two pubs, a small supermarket and other amenities. Morecambe Bay, Kendal, Windermere, Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands, and Lancaster are all within easy reach, and there are beautiful walks and mountain bike trails from the cottage door. 

The Stables is ideally placed in the centre of Warton, a village with connections to George Washington, with two public houses serving real ale and home-cooked food, an independent micro brewery and Warton Crag which is perfect for walks and to see glorious coastal views. Within an easy drive, you can be strolling around the coast of Morecambe Bay, sailing on Windermere, hiking through the fells or climbing a mountain. The Stables is a delightful stone holiday cottage on a quiet street in the village, a short walk from all the action with a walled courtyard garden and space to sleep six people in three bedrooms (plus one additional person on a sofabed in the sunroom). Families, couples and friends love it here because of it's relaxed, community feel, with lots to see and do throughout the year.

Stork Cottage is an old traditional and comfortable cottage with lots of character. It is very well equipped and home from home. The Kitchen has: electric oven and hob, airfryer,  microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is bright and well-equipped with everything you may need. Utility room: with washing machine, ironing board and iron. The lounge with log burning stove has a Smart TV, DVD player, games and entertainment corner, dining table, sofa and cuddle chair.
