Stork Cottage – A little haven made for slow, relaxing escapes. There’s a gentle magic to Stork Cottage... tucked away in a peaceful corner of the countryside, it’s the kind of place where time seems to soften, the air feels calmer, and guests instantly settle in as though they’ve arrived somewhere familiar and cherished. We have many return visitors who describe it as a place they can’t wait to return to, and the warmth of their reviews says everything about how special this cottage feels. Push open the front door and step into a cosy vestibule where boots and coats find their place after long walks. Beyond it lies a bright, welcoming kitchen filled with everything you need for unhurried mornings and simple suppers - an electric oven and hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The separate utility room keeps life easy with a washing machine and ironing facilities. 

 Kirkby Lonsdale is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and The Lake District, making this smart period cottage a wonderful choice for visitors who want to easily explore the region. Courtyard Cottage has two bedrooms and is within walking distance of several excellent food pubs. The pretty market town has a great array of amenities and a fun calendar of events that include the annual Music Festival, Victorian & Christmas Fair.

If you wake every morning with the urge to pull the covers back over your head, it's time to book a self-catering holiday at Lakeside Cottage. The former gamekeeper's cottage sleeps four people and has a path to a private jetty on the lake. It's set within a nature reserve a 20-minute walk from Silverdale, where there are two pubs, a small supermarket and other amenities. Morecambe Bay, Kendal, Windermere, Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands, and Lancaster are all within easy reach, and there are beautiful walks and mountain bike trails from the cottage door. 

The Stables is ideally placed in the centre of Warton, a village with connections to George Washington, with two public houses serving real ale and home-cooked food, an independent micro brewery and Warton Crag which is perfect for walks and to see glorious coastal views. Within an easy drive, you can be strolling around the coast of Morecambe Bay, sailing on Windermere, hiking through the fells or climbing a mountain. The Stables is a delightful stone holiday cottage on a quiet street in the village, a short walk from all the action with a walled courtyard garden and space to sleep six people in three bedrooms (plus one additional person on a sofabed in the sunroom). Families, couples and friends love it here because of it's relaxed, community feel, with lots to see and do throughout the year.

Mallard Lodge is a welcoming holiday home with views of the lake and an outdoor hot tub. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one which is ensuite), it is perfect for friends and couples. The lodge is in a fantastic location near Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster and Morecambe Bay. The Forest of Bowland AONB is within walking distance, while the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks are within easy reach by car. The site has five acres of fishing lakes. Guests can enjoy wonderful walks, breathtaking bike rides, climbing, caving, golf, sailing and scuba diving.
