Dating back to 1680 this cottage has living accommodation upstairs and two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. Set within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoying views to the surrounding hills, Ghyll Burn Cottage provides an excellent base in an area ideal for walking, birdwatching, cycling  or simply relaxing. Alston has a range of shops, pubs and cafes to meet all day to day needs and is central for travelling further afield to the Lake District, Hadrians Wall, Durham and Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland.
