Stork Cottage, recently renovated is perfect for a couple or small family with a dog. It is located in Conder Green, a pretty hamlet near Lancaster and is a fine place for walking, cycling, bird-watching or kayaking.
From the door step we have picturesque Glasson Dock, the Lancaster Canal, and views of the tidal River Conder which runs through the area and into the Lune Estuary.
An ideal base for visiting The Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Ribble Valley, and other regions of Lancashire, including the coastal towns of Morecambe, Blackpool, and Arnside. Lancaster University and Lancaster city centre are both within a 10-minute drive.
If you love the outdoors and being close to water, you will love Stork Cottage.

We are fortunate to have plenty of excellent places to eat within walking distance:
The Stork Hotel - virtually next door,
Pyes Mill, Conder Green,
Ashton Garden Centre, 3 minutes drive,
The Café in Glasson Dock, 15 minutes walk,
... all serve excellent food including breakfast
In addition:
The Port of Lancaster Smoke House - is a renowned shop and deli which you will love.
Across the road from the cottage is the Bus Stop - connecting many villages between Lancaster, Garstang and Knott End, so you can leave the car at home.
Lancaster Golf Club welcomes visiting golfers - 3 minutes drive.
