Switching off shouldn't mean putting up with someone else's tired caravan.
The Debonair is nearly new and reset to new after every single stay - guests tell us it feels like nobody has stayed before.
Inside, everything is built around losing an evening without noticing: plush pillow-back sofas facing a stove-effect fire in a country-style mantelpiece, a farmhouse dining table where everyone eats together properly, and big patio doors opening onto the decking for morning coffee or sunset drinks. The master bedroom has a king bed and private en-suite; the twin room suits children or a second couple.
Central heating and double glazing keep it warm whatever the northern weather does.
Then pick your days. Lake Windermere and its boat hire are about half an hour away. Silverdale & Arnside AONB and the coast are fifteen minutes. The Yorkshire Dales trails are within easy reach, and Kendal, Lancaster and Morecambe are twenty minutes out. On the lazy day, the park itself has a 15-metre heated indoor pool, steam room and gym (passes from reception), a spa, a private fishing lake and a lakeside restaurant for the night off cooking.
Five minutes from the M6 means arrival is simple from Manchester, Leeds or further south. Parking is right outside, check-in is self-guided with clear instructions sent ahead, and your dog is welcome to come too. Far from ordinary life, without being far from anything.

We're Bower & Beck - a small, owner-run business, not an agency. Over 110 stays hosted this year so far, and every stay starts with our own check of the lodge on the day you arrive.
Dogs are welcome for a small additional charge - we ask that they stay off the furniture and aren't left alone in the lodge. The leisure club (pool, steam room, gym) is pay-as-you-go via park reception, by the day or week. Check-in from 4pm, checkout by 10am, with early or late options sometimes available on request.
