Waterside Retreat is a welcoming holiday home with views over Morecambe Bay to the mountains of the Lake District. It is in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within easy reach of the southern shore of Windermere, the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The property sleeps four people in two bedrooms and is ideal for couples or families, being just across the road from the water and enjoying spectacular views. The owners have recently refurbished the house, decorating it with a subtle nautical theme to suit the environment.

Swim off our jetty in the crystal-clear water, fish for specimen roach, rudd and tench (or tiddlers every cast to keep children happy!) or just immerse yourself in the natural wonderworld that’s around you. We have resident otters, kingfishers, marsh harriers and even bittern, with deer and hedgehogs frequent visitors to the garden. You have a private cabin with covered veranda at the lake edge - perfect for birdwatching, reading and even dining as the sun sets over the lake. Lounge on the sunny lawn, BBQ in the gravel courtyard or enjoy wandering in the garden with its sitting areas in sun or shade, orchard and wildflower garden.
