Bumblebee Cottage is on the Main Street of the charming village of South Creake, set back about 7 miles inland from Wells next the Sea. The characterful flint cottage boasts traditional features such as beams, stone floors, log burner and roll top bath in the main bathroom-whilst having all the modern touches a holiday guest would expect, including wifi.
South Creake is tucked into the valley of the River Burn, and is a 10 minute drive from Burnham Market-where you can find independent shops, pubs, restaurants and deli's. Many popular North Norfolk destinations are close by -Brancaster and Holkham Beaches are both within 10 miles from the cottage and Blakeney is just over 14 miles away. Holkham Hall is a 6 mile drive from the cottage and Walsingham Abbey is less than a 15 minute drive. If you are a bird watcher-RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust at Cley and Salthouses are both a 30 minute drive from the cottage.
There are many wonderful pubs, restaurants, independent shops, beaches, nature walks and beaches within an easy drive of the cottage and it really provides an ideal base for your holiday.
