Norfolk Cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and affords a waterside position in the popular Broadland village of Wroxham right at the very heart of the Norfolk Broads.
With shops and eateries on the doorstep and miles of magical waterways to explore, this is the perfect choice for a family holiday, and couples who want to get away and relax by the water with excellent amenities close to hand.
Sit in the peaceful riverside gardens and soak up the tranquility, fish from the water's edge, bring or hire a kayak/canoe or hire a day boat and explore the river. Then of an evening stroll out and enjoy a meal in one of the pubs or restaurants . There are also takeaway and shops for provisions for those who would prefer to stay in and enjoy the magical setting on the doorstep.
There are plenty of day trips out. For those who want to leave the car at home, Wroxham has a train station with a regular service to Norwich's bustling city centre. You can also take a train to Sheringham on the coast for a day by the sea, or to North Walsham with its Thursday market. Cycling locally is very good with the Three Rivers Way cycle route taking you to the picturesque village of Horning (bike hire available in Wroxham). There are also lovely riverside walks so pack a picnic and get out and about exploring.
The kids are sure to love a magical day at BeWILDerwood in Horning, Pleasurewood Hills with almost sixty acres of jam packed fun for both sunny and inclement days, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and Wroxham Barns with a Junior Farm for petting the animals and crafts and shopping for the adults. Hoveton Hall is another good place to visit, as is Aylsham with its Monday market.
A perfect holiday choice for those who want to explore and have fun on land, water, or simply relax in your very own peaceful waterside oasis.

Accommodation comprises:
Ground floor - the rooms on both levels afford lovely views over the river.
First floor - both rooms are spacious and have televisions.
Outside: Guests have the use of the terrace area with outdoor furniture for sitting out and communal lawned gardens with direct access to the river where you can fish (when in season with a license).
Additional information: Prices include bed linen, towels (a bath and hand towel for each guest but please bring beach/outside towels). Cot and high chair available. A welcome pack allows you to have a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits when you arrive whilst unpacking. Heating and electricity included in the price. One off-road parking space near the cottage (behind a secure barrier) is available. Parking for one additional car also within the complex can be arranged at a cost of £5 per day, charged by the land owner. We are flexable with our changeover day allowing you to arrive any day of the week. Short breaks available (three night minimum low and med season, four nights minimum high season ) - please enquire with the owner for a price.
At the time of booking we also ask for a refundable damage deposit of £75, which will be returned after your stay.
