Hill Top is a delightful detached holiday cottage which sleeps five to ten guests and is ideal for family holidays or celebrating a special occasion. It provides a peaceful setting with many attractions to visit in this area of outstanding beauty.
Nestling amongst wonderful Gloucestershire countryside, Hill Top provides superb opportunities for walkers and magnificent views, particularly of an evening as the sun sets over the Malvern Hills - the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine at the end of the day.
The Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills are within easy reach and the central location of Hill Top makes it ideal for either a short break or longer holiday.
Hill Top is within easy walking distance of the friendly riverside Gloucestershire village of Twyning which offers a shop, play area for the little ones, church and two pubs serving food.
There are plenty of things to do and see in this area including good opportunities for horse riding, golf, fishing and walking.
The historic town of Tewkesbury is just three miles away, with its medieval black and white timber framed buildings and little alleyways offering a good choice of pubs, eating establishments, cinema/theatre and a leisure pool. The town is dominated by its 12th century Abbey with its impressive Norman architecture and offers a good selection of interesting shops.
The many attractions of Cheltenham, Malvern, Gloucester and Worcester are only a twenty minute drive and Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol and Birmingham are just a little further afield.
For family days out there is the nearby Forest of Dean, West Midlands Safari Park, Bristol Zoo, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Eastnor Castle, Cotswold Farm Park and Clearwell Caves to name just a few. Also within reach for those who love trains or just want a leisurely way of seeing the scenery are the famous Severn Valley steam railway and Toddington GWR. Cheltenham Racecourse is also easily accessible as is the Three Counties Showground and Worcester County Cricket Club.
Other nice places to visit are Sudeley Castle, Hailes Abbey and the Malvern Hills which offer stunning views at any time of the year; along with the picturesque Cotswold villages and towns of Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Broadway and the Slaughters - all within easy reach and well worth a visit.
