4 Bancroft Place is a well-appointed studio apartment, perfect for couples looking to explore the charming market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Whilst it might be compact in size, it is full of special touches to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxed self-catering holiday. Enjoy a morning coffee from the coffee maker as you watch the narrowboats bob about on the canal, make your own bread in the bread maker and rest your head at the end of the day on the comfortable down pillows and duvets. There is even your very own parking space for those that have travelled here by car.
Rich in culture and history, the market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon sits in the rural county of Warwickshire. Arguably this pretty market town is most famous for being the birthplace of Shakespeare. Any theatre lovers shouldn’t miss the opportunity to watch a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Or if you are looking for something a bit different you can pack up the picnic basket and chairs provided by the owners of 4 Bancroft Place and enjoy one of the open-air performances that take place during the summer months. If the theatre isn’t your thing, you can enjoy whiling away an afternoon or two on the River Avon. Enjoy a riverside stroll, a leisurely picnic by the water, or even hire a rowing boat.
If you want to learn more about this medieval town you can take a guided bus, river or walking tour. Or simply enjoy pottering along the pretty streets and browsing the independent shops and mouth-watering cafes. Just a five-minute walk from the town centre you will even find Britain’s largest tropical butterfly farm. With golf courses and opportunities for fishing available locally too, there is plenty to keep you entertained. However, if you want to venture further afield you can explore the beautiful rolling hills and pretty honey coloured villages and historic towns of the Cotswolds, Stately National Trust homes and magnificent historic gardens.

Our short breaks are 3 nights weekend Friday to Monday or 4 nights midweek Monday to Friday costing £275.
