Lower Mill Estate boasts some of the most desirable holiday homes in the Cotswolds. Spend even an hour here, and you'll understand why. Once a quarry for the world-famous, honey-hued Cotswold stone, it is now a tranquil nature reserve that provides a haven for a wealth of flora, wildlife and migrating birds and is a place of peace and beauty for holidaymakers. Bring your binoculars to spot nightingales, water voles, sandpipers, cuckoos, house martin and, if you're lucky, shy beavers. Lower Mill has walking and cycling routes, an award-winning spa with pools, a sauna and steam room, and luxurious treatments. There is direct lake access from behind the house and you can also use the estate's tennis courts, playgrounds, SUP and canoe hire, and a family-friendly restaurant.
Cirencester is only a few miles from Merlin House. Additional Information: You'll need to bring swimming and dog towels, but all other linen and towels are included, as are utilities, WiFi, and overnight EV charging. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking and stag/hen parties are not allowed.
