About 4 Victoria Terrace

4 Victoria Terrace is a Cotswold holiday cottage to love. It's close to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, strolling distance from the River Windrush, tea rooms, restaurants, a small supermarket, and favourite attractions like Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection. The location is perfect for exploring the spectacular Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - it's just off the Roman Fosse Way and within easy reach of scenic Stow-on-the-Wold and the much-photographed Upper and Lower Slaughter. The two-bedroom cottage sleeps four people with off-street parking and a private courtyard garden, so it's ideal for couples or families.

Bourton-on-the-Water is one of the best-known Cotswold villages, making this cottage's central location and off-street parking even more valuable. It's charming, with buildings of characteristic honey-coloured Cotswold Stone, historic pubs, and grassy riverbanks with park benches and willow trees to provide shade. Stop by the Christmas Shop, where it's Christmas every day of the year, relive favourite childhood memories in the toy museum, and admire the detail in the Model Village. There is a good choice of pubs and restaurants if you're celebrating a special occasion or want to treat yourself to a night away from the kitchen. Bicycle hire and guided tours are available to book locally.

There is no month in which the Cotswolds are not a fantastic holiday destination. The countryside is glorious all year round, the charm of the towns and villages hasn't dimmed for centuries, and attractions are not seasonal, so there's always something fantastic to see and do. Shop your socks off in places like Cheltenham, Cirencester and Chipping Norton, visit local markets, and go for long country walks or bike rides before stopping for lunch in the welcoming pubs and smart cafes of Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Chipping Campden. Attractions to visit include Sudeley Castle, Batsford Arboretum, Broadway Tower, the Cotswold Farm Park, and Blenheim Palace. Oxford, Bicester Village, and Stratford-Upon-Avon are less than an hour from Bourton-on-the-Water, and there is a calendar full of performances, fetes, and festivals.

A holiday in the Cotswolds is one of the best ways you can spend your time. It can be as relaxing or as busy as you choose, with a wide variety of attractions and activities. 4 Victoria Terrace is available for holidays all year round, giving you the ideal opportunity to experience what is arguably the prettiest part of England.
