Ideally located, it is just a three minute walk from the Market Square of Stow-on-the-Wold with shops, pubs and restaurants, and enjoys a quiet position with two secluded gardens (one large with a pond to relax by of an evening).
With its rolling hills, beautiful villages, meandering streams, market towns and ancient forests, the Cotswolds is a truly romantic part of England. The quintessentially English town of Stow-on-the-Wold sits high on the Roman Fosse Way and is steeped in history. A popular holiday destination for both international and English visitors, Stow provides easy access to the many delights of the Cotswolds and is a very attractive place to stay.
The market square is large and impressive with an good collection of traditional Cotswolds buildings which are home to welcoming pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, independent boutiques and shops for provisions such as a butchers, delicatessen, bakers, wine shop, an organic shop and Co-op grocery store.
The area is ideal for those who enjoy walking with the Cotswold, Monarch and Donnington Way all close by. There are also plenty of places to visit and attractions in the wider area including: Blenheim Palace, the home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill; Gloucester Warwickshire Steam Railway, where you can take a steam train along a part of the former Great Western Railway between Toddington and Cheltenham; Broadway Tower, one of England's outstanding viewpoints; Cotswold Farm Park, “Home of Rare Breed Conservation” and plenty of National Trust homes and gardens to visit including Chedworth Roman Villa, Lodge Park, Hailes Abbey and the Sherborne Estate.
